The Border Security Force (BSF) is India’s primary armed police force comes under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. It was established on 1 December 1965 to guard the international borders. The BSF prevents infiltration, smuggling, and terrorism, and instills a sense of security among border residents.
Inviting the 3588 Constable Tradesman Vacancies (3406 Vacancies for Male candidates and 182 Vacancies for Female candidates) in BSF interested and eligible candidates can apply till 24-08-2025.
Pay Matrix Level-3, Pay scale Rs.21,700-69,100/- of 7th CPC (Revised Pay Structure) and other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees from time to time. In addition, Ration allowance, Medical Assistance, free accommodation, free leave pass, etc. are granted which are admissible to BSF employees.

| For trades of Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Plumber), Constable (Painter), Constable (Electrician), Constable (Pump Operator) and Constable (Upholsterer): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board; Two years certificate course from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the trade or a similar trade; or One year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or Government-affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; For trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman).
